According to Hawaii News Daily, police had been tipped off about a large indoor marijuana grow operation and (after some investigation) served search warrants at 3 adjacent properties on Thursday, October 18th.

9 people were arrested; 7 of whom were released pending further information, 2 (both in their 50s) faced almost $100,000 bail each. In addition, police foundĀ 321 plants, 96 clones, 98.8 pounds of dried marijuana, 2.5 grams of heroin, 125 grams of hashish and 232 hydrocodone pills at two of the properties.

Then, as if this wasn’t enough of a blow to Hawaiian Weedists, on Friday, October 19th, police searched another home and foundĀ 465 plants, 643 clones and 4.2 pounds of dried marijuana.

You might think the horror would stop there, but no. On Saturday, October 20th, police searched two more homes and found another 85 plants and about 3.5 pounds of marijuana.

Let us all hope that our fellow Weedists in Hawaii, where they are known to have some of the best buds in the world, can still find some buds to smoke.
