While public support for marijuana legalization in Kentucky is only about 25%, almost 80% of residents think medical marijuana should be legal and accessible for those that need it. It seems that the general public is accepting the fact that medical marijuana won’t cause the sky to fall, it’s just a matter of time before it is accepted that legalized recreational marijuana won’t either.

Harvest of Tempe is the city’s first medical marijuana dispensary to open since Arizona adopted medical marijuana laws in 2010. The focus of the dispensary is clearly security; the only entrance to the building has concrete pillars to protect it from vehicles, and most of the medicine inside is locked in a vault. Oh, did I mention the bullet-proof glass and double security doors?
