Weed Lifestyle

Seattle's First Couple Weeks of Legal Weed, by @diablodabsSo legal weed is here in Seattle and no, I still have not gotten any. It’s just too high in demand; punny, though I doubt I’m first to use it. The hash also isn’t here yet, which is what I am really after novelty wise. Otherwise, I am rolling with MMJ as long as it lasts.

However, whether the grass is ill-gotten or not, it’s the mentality and culture thus far I want to comment on – positively. I absolutely do see and smell more grass around since 502, despite existing prevalence of MMJ. What I do not see thus far is disrespect and I gotta give props to my #SeattleStoners for that shit.

First and foremost, I have not seen any smoking in front of kids. I think that’s a big elephant in the room and though I don’t speak for everyone, I’ve not seen this kinda disrespect. And where I have seen smoking in public, thank God I haven’t seen obnoxiousness. I’m from Long Island, I know a thing or two about loud and whiny assholes cramping everyone’s style. Legal weed had the potential to be like a pied piper for assholes, but it hasn’t been so far.

Shouts out to the Emerald City and her stoners for not giving the right wingers ammo. Just my $0.02 from quite literally life below the Space Needle.
