On February 28, 2013, Tacoma, WA Judge Jack Emery ordered Tacoma Police to return confiscated medical marijuana to a patient (marijuana charges against the patient had been dropped in December). Police and city attorney John Walker had still not complied on April 25. Judge Emery called this “contemptuous” and gave city attorney Walker one week to comply, advising him to bring his own council if he still has not complied with the order.
