Maryland Passes Bill to Protect Medical Marijuana Caregivers

Maryland’s SB 580 allows legal protection for medical marijuana caregivers, and passed unanimously in the House. While the bill won’t protect caregivers from arrest, it will offer them an affirmative defense for possession of up to an ounce of marijuana.
