Illinois Medical Marijuana Bill Gaining Support

Rep. Lou Lang is the sponsor of HB1, Illinois’ medical marijuana bill. He says that the bill is now just a vote or two away from passing the House. Opponents of the bill are angry about the 2.5 oz limit over a two-week period, saying that allows patients to re-sell extra medicine.
