Canada Changes Medical Marijuana Regulations

Previously in Canada, medical marijuana patients needed to provide proof of qualifying medical conditions to Health Canada, which would then issue them a card allowing them to use and grow cannabis. Under the new “Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations,” doctors will prescribe the drug to patients, who can no longer grow it for themselves.
