According to the budget and finance office of Aurora (a Denver suburb), the city could see millions in revenue from legal marijuana sales. The actual revenue increase will depend on the city’s zoning rules for marijuana stores. If regulated with similar rules to liquor stores, the city could see as many as 80 shops and about $2.7 million in revenue.
