Lil Jon and Rock the Vote Present #TURNOUTFORWHAT, Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rijpU5yD55IRock the Vote is a non-profit organization who are, in their words, “…working to build political power for young people by registering them to vote, getting them involved in politics, and empowering them to run their own action campaigns.”

Their latest campaign involves a video that, quite frankly, was more amazing than I could have ever anticipated. It just kept getting better and better as I watched, and even took up the cause of legalization.

The video stars rapper Lil Jon, Lena Dunham of Girls, comedienne Fred ArmisenNatasha Lyonne of Orange Is the New Black, musician Devendra Banhart, model Ireland Baldwin, comedienne/actress Whoopi Goldberg and more.

Breaking into an amazing rendition of Turn Down For What, redubbed as Turn Out For What, the video addresses the many reasons voters will be turning out to cast their ballot on November 4th. These included women’s rights, racial equality, marriage equality, reproductive rights, global warming awareness, prison reform and a multitude of other great reasons.

Finally Lil Jon steps up, holding a comically enormous joint and says, “What’s up, I’m Lil Jon, and I’m turnin’ out for the legalization of marijuana.”

Watch the video below, and be sure to rock the vote on Nov. 4th and #TURNOUTFORWHAT
