Oregonians have a last chance this week to provide comments to the medical dispensary rules. Inspections on approved dispensaries have already begun. Meetings for public comments have already been held in Portland and Bend. They are scheduled for the upcoming week in Eugene and Medford, as noted. If you missed your chance to comment, you still have time. From the Oregon Health Authority website:
“You may also file written comments before 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2014 by submitting them to the Public Health Division Rules Coordinator at the following address:
OHA, Public Health Division Alayna Nest, Administrative Rules Coordinator 800 NE Oregon Street, Suite 930 Portland, Oregon 97232
E-mail comments to: alayna.n.nest@state.or.us. You may also send comments by fax to (971) 673-1299.
Final rules will be filed after consideration of all comments.”
Please take this opportunity to let the rules committee know what you think. Once the rules are finalized, they will be much harder to change.
