Some strains just have a name that sounds so intriguing that you can’t help but want to try it. Just like any other good marketing, the name of a strain can often be the deciding factor in choosing from a bunch of other strains that generally seem the same.

Bruce Banner is one of those strains that definitely can back up its ambious, Hulk-referencing name. A strain native to Colorado, this is a hybrid that definitely leans more to the sativa. Bruce Banner is a cross OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel (NYC Diesel / Strawberry Cough cross), with variations out there that contain crosses with Ft. Collins Cough and Super Silver Haze.

always dense nugs and great bud structure in that Bruce Banner….

No matter what the exact genetics of the phenotype you find at your local medical marijuana dispensary, good Bruce Banner will have very dense nugs and a sweet, potent smell. The effect is a strong head high, with some body high like from an indica (which is why this is definitely more of a hybrid strain). I have been loving this strain for a good after-work smoke; with a relaxing effect that lasts for several hours without such a hard crash that you might get from a heavier indica.

Bruce Banner is a strain that every Weedist should try because of its great, all around effect and consistently great tasting smoke.
