My Favorite Strains: Super Bomb

With so many great kinds of herbs to choose from at any local medical marijuana dispensary, it can be very easy to get jaded and settle on just a few that you know are great. Any fan of sativa strains will probably have their favorite between strains like Sour Diesel or OG Kush, and indica fans know that Kush and other indica strains are great for a heavy body high. Medical marijuana patients probably have a few strains that they know are great for their pain, but even patients can probably attest to switching it up to something that they weren’t initially sure about to discover that it was total fire.

The sheer variety available at any good dispensary can be overwhelming, but will most definitely help the patient/consumer see some of the most interesting and overall best strains imaginable. After smelling a dozen or so strains, it can sometimes just require a bit of bravery to pick something that is new and untested.

Super Bomb was one of those strains that took me a few times seeing it to really make me want it.  A hybrid strain from AKG made by crossing a few kinds of Space Queen strains together, this is not Space Bomb, which is another great strain that bud connoisseurs out there might not have seen. While Space Bomb is an amazing strain on its own, that is a sativa dominant originally from TGA seeds with more of an uplifting feeling.

Super Bomb has a distinctive look with a great deal of orange hairs and a specific smell- not quite citrus or overly sweet, with some strong pineapple fruity flavors. The flavor is probably my favorite thing about this strain, with a tasty profile throughout that makes me want to enjoy this strain all day, especially given the feeling of the overall high; it’s perfect at all times of the day, and tastes great whether rolled up or in a glass pipe or bong.

Super Bomb

The effect of well-grown Super Bomb (sometimes seen as Superbomb) is a true hybrid the few times I’ve had it. While the bud structure is denser like an indica, the effect has some nice sativa head high as well as a relaxing body high. Hybrid strains have becomes many of my most recent personal favorite strains because of that combination of great feelings- some head high, some body, and an overall great effect that can be good for many different times of day. I find this strain great for both relaxation and pain relief, as we as an uplifting  and happy feeling.

Super Bomb has become my go-to hybrid strain recently for the great effect and flavor. Next time you see this strain, make sure to go for it and pick some up!
