My Favorite Strains: Super Lemon Haze

There are few things better than that first bowl of the day along with a nice cup of coffee. Some tokers (my boyfriend included) think that cannabis should be enjoyed in the evening after all tasks have been completed for the day.

I, however, find that a bowl of a sativa-dominant strain such as Super Lemon Haze is like a shot of espresso in itself. And this is when I can really get tasks done. This energy-boosting strain is ideal for those who enjoy a productive wake and bake.

The Cannabis Cup winner in 2008 and 2009, Super Lemon Haze is a cross between Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze. It usually has a high THC percentage (18% or higher, topping out near 25%) with a lovely clean lemony, musky taste that is deliciously earthy.

The effects are energetic, creative, and uplifting. Super Lemon Haze will not leave you couch-locked, but it does have enough indica qualities to relieve body aches and muscle spasms.
