In a posh Southern Los Angeles county, investigators seized a pot farm worth $1 million dollars. They also arrested two men for growing, selling, and transporting the marijuana, in addition to electricity theft.
The gated Hidden Hills community is the home to many celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and Kim Kardashian.
The two men charged in the pot farm operation used high-tech electrical equipment that was expertly installed for their huge grow operation. They even used a bypass to steal the electricity needed for the 1,000 marijuana plants.
Investigators have no idea how long the pot farm has been running. The operators were hired as the property’s gardener and construction worker. Looks like their skills were put to good use.
