British Man Spends Over 57,000 Dollars Per Year on Cannabis

A British man, Lee Maddison, 27 of Carlisle, England has told a court he now spends up to £100 a day on cannabis. Based on present exchange rates, that’s $156.57 per day or $57,148.05 per year on marijuana for personal use!

Judge Peter Hughes QC said “You say you don’t need help in dealing with your dependency, but I strongly believe that you do.”

No shit Lee needs help, $156 even in the Bay Area will get me nearly a 1/2 ounce of top shelf cannabis every day, what the fuck are British weedists spending per ounce on cannabis? 

All joking aside, Lee said he’s been using cannabis since 8 years old and if he’s using remotely close to 1/2 an ounce a day, he needs some help or at least a serious tolerance break.
