Settlement Reached in Arkansas Marijuana Machine Lawsuit

Jerry Cox, president of an Arkansas conservative “family values” group that campaigned against legalizing medical marijuana, agreed not to refer in certain ways to Medicine Dispensing Systems Inc.’s medical marijuana vending machines in order to settle a lawsuit. Cox was publicly stirring up misinformation stating that the machines would be placed all over, whereas the truth is they’d be found in hospitals, pharmacies and doctor’s offices, authorizing users through key cards and fingerprints.
