Massachusetts Going High-Tech to Track Medical Marijuana

Massachusetts is looking for IT consultants to determine the cost of creating the “single electronic system” required by the state’s medical marijuana law to track medical marijuana during cultivation, transport and sales. According to the law, the “system shall chronicle every step, ingredient, activity, transaction, and dispensary agent, registered qualifying patient, or personal caregiver who handles, obtains, or possesses the product.”
