Colorado MMJ Patients Protest Lack Of Confidentiality

A June audit of Colorado’s Medical Marijuana Registry found serious breaches in the confidentiality that was supposed to be in place. Protesters gathered Wednesday along with an emergency petition asking that the registry be completely rebuilt. The petition was unanimously voted down by the Department of Health, but some officials did take the lack of security seriously. The Department of Health insists that it is making security upgrades due to the audit.
