US cannabis magazines regularly published articles about the Czech “cannabis heaven on Earth,” repeating clichés like, “everybody can freely light up a joint anywhere”, “the police do not prosecute marijuana growers”, or “possession up to 15 grams is only a minor offence”, and “medical cannabis is legal and available since the new law passed in spring of 2013.”

UK Edging Closer to Legalization of Cannabis as British Medical Association Debates ‘Health Issue’

Delegates at the British Medical Association’s annual representative meeting in Harrogate are to debate whether cannabis should be legalized. “Existing drug policy is contradictory and ineffective. The number of drug users has sky rocketed in the last 30 years despite the introduction of tougher and tougher drug laws. Our policy makers aren’t prepared to have a sensible, rational, evidence-based debate on drugs.”

At first glance, a new pamphlet produced by “CBD-Care.com” looks like some sort of altruistic white paper on the therapeutic benefits of cannabidiol. Curious about the pamphlet’s contents, I signed up to download the PDF – and sure enough, within five minutes my inbox had an email from HempMedsPX, offering to sell me a six-pack of their “CBD-rich hemp extract” for the bargain price of $2,000.00 USD.
