Delaware’s First Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Delaware’s First Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Delaware’s first medical marijuana dispensary will open in September. The program was signed into law in 2011 but was delayed due to fear of federal intervention. But, in the wake of the US Department of Justice stating they will not prosecute those adhering to state legal pot laws, Delaware’s public health department was able to move forward.

How Marijuana Changed Your March Madness Bracket

How Marijuana Changed Your March Madness Bracket

Chane Behanan was a member of the Louisville basketball team. While they were at a hotel for a road game, he took a walk to get away and smoke some green to chill, within smelling distance of Miami police. He was kicked off the team. So Chane transferred. To COLORADO STATE! “Of course, the weed dude goes to the weed state.”

CA Gov. Jerry Brown: ‘How Many People Can Get Stoned and Still Have a Great State?’

On Meet the Press,  CA Governor Jerry Brown expressed his concern “…how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation? The world’s pretty dangerous, very competitive. I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together.” Makes you wonder if he was stoned at the time.

Evidence on Marijuana’s Health Effects Is Hazy at Best

Evidence on Marijuana’s Health Effects Is Hazy at Best

Government-sponsored radio doesn’t think the government has done enough research to determine if marijuana is good for your health. I think the question NPR should be asking is why cannabis research or prohibition is the government’s business in the first place.

Prohibition Must Stop: Botched Drug Raid Literally Burns 12-Year-Old Girl

Prohibition must stop. A 12-year-old girl suffered 2nd degree burns from a flash grenade thrown by Montana SWAT. The fact it was the wrong house makes it worse but, even assuming it was the right house, the disregard for human life is disgusting.
