Exciting New Concentrate Extraction Methods: Rosin Tech

If I told you that the picture above equaled shatter, would you believe me? And before you ask, yes I am high, but I’m also not off my rocker.

Just in time for 420 comes exciting news from the concentrate world. A Cali extraction artist named Soilgrown Sal has discovered that a heat press on frosty nugs equals shatter. I know it sounds crazy like a fox, but it’s true.

Rosin Tech is essentially solventless shatter. A super hot press (think hair straightener small scale, t-shirt press big scale) will strip the particulate matter and leave behind the resin we’re looking for — amazing. I already know what you’re thinking and you are absolutely right. I have not, but yes—this is safe—and you can do it at home. Shouts to local bhomb glass blower Sasquatch who posted the pic above. Everyone in my town seems to be doing this, so I know it’s the truth.

And it really is just that simple. I am still doing some digging on the technical side of this, but wanted to report this exciting development right away. Headies all over social media are making proper and totally safe runs at home. I’m told yields on good frosty nugs is roughly 15%. This is an incredible development for the cannabis extraction space.

For readers unfamiliar, the seriously low hanging fruit of this process is that it requires no solvents. No butane means no explosions at home, and no petro chemicals to purge. Essentially, the same incentives of solventless hashes.

As for the joke to the right, well it’s polarizing the extraction community as we speak. This jab is directly at those who have so heavily invested in safe and lawful BHO extraction labs.
