Edibles Review: Incredibles Mikiba Bar

Edibles can be one of the best ways to medicate because of the simple and discreet nature of simply eating something rather than smoking it. While novice edible users need to always take it a little bit at a time to make sure to not overdo it, those with higher tolerances can probably stand a higher dose or something with a different combination of cannabinoids to keep the body guessing a bit.

One of the most interesting new edibles I’ve seen recently in Colorado dispensaries has been the Incredibles Mikiba Bar. Made by Weedist favorite Medically Correct, this is basically a medicated Clif Bar (or other similar protein bar-esque snacks). With several grams of protein, fiber and actual stuff that will tide you over, this works as a real snack since it can and definitely will fill the user up more than a standard chocolate bar.

The overall cannabis in this semi-healthy treat is what makes it most interesting: 40 mg total, with 10 mg of CBD and 30 mg of THC. I ate the entire thing over a period of several hours and it had a very calming, relaxing effect. The higher content of CBD definitely had a very good pain relief effect, while the lower dose of THC was good for an overall head high, as well. Effect wise, this is one of the most balanced and evenly distributed effects, perfect for users who need an edible for daytime use that won’t be too overpowering but still will be good for taking any kind of edge off a bit.

Incredibles entire line of chocolate bars have been great for years now, so this latest venture into a more healthy and filling snack is definitely a welcome addition to the marijuana infused edible market here in Colorado. I definitely recommend the Mikiba Bar to anyone looking for a great marijuana infused edible treat.
