My Favorite Strains: G13

With so many different growers being able to breed and grow new strains of marijuana for both the medical and now recreational markets, there are many new strains coming out all the time. It’s exciting for those of us fortunate enough to live in states where marijuana is legally available in some form. Those who shop at dispensaries will probably see many different kinds of variations on popular strains like Diesel, Kush, or Skunk.

One of my favorite strains that often gets crossed with other strains to create interesting hybrids is G13. There are many different things that G13 has been crossed with to make all kinds of different strains, both indica and sativa. Sour Breath is a variation of Sour Diesel with the G13, which by itself is typically a hybrid that has always hit me more towards the heavy body high of an indica. Together with the heady Diesel, it’s a super strong all around hybrid that always impresses me.

G13 crossed with Haze and Sour Diesel is usually seen as Sour Cream in shops around Colorado. G13 by itself will typically have a sweet and pungent odor with a dense nug structure. You also know that a strain is a good one when it has its own Wikipedia page.

No matter where  you see G13, or what it’s been crossed with, it’s definitely a consistent strain that should be checked out by any Weedist looking to expand their horizons.
