This is almost not really a recipe but rather an explanation of the method because it doesn’t rely on amounts or measurements.

The essence of any flour is to grind dried plant matter into a powder that can then be used to cook. Cannaflour is no different. You are essentially grinding up cannabis into a superfine powder and either using the final product as is or as an additive to more traditional flours like wheat, oat or rice flours.

This is a time-consuming process, but it’s not very hard. You ideally want to get a bunch of leaf trimmings or “waste” after the buds are removed. Leaves dry out very well and do not have much seed/stem type woody substances attached. Also, most growers are just tossing/burning their leaves, so you might be able to get them for free or super cheap if you know the right people.

Once you have a good amount of weed scraps, it is imperative that they are totally dry. If there is even the slightest bit of moisture present, it will likely mold the entire batch.

Once dryness has been achieved, just grind the shit out of it. Put in in the blender, a coffee grinder or even an old fashioned mortar and pestle. You literally cannot grind it too fine so just go nuts. After the grinding process, use a sifter to catch any chunks of stem or seeds that may have gotten through and voila! You have made cannaflour.

Use intelligently, cannaflour can be strangely deceptive in its potency.
