Instafire: Eusheen and Elbo Microscope

It looks like in addition to our Pieces of the Week, we’re gonna need a new category: Pieces of What the Fuck?! Rigs like one the above are the reason why: behold the Eusheen and Elbo Microscope. That’s $20k worth of Instafire you’re looking at by the way, and already SOLD.

This truly jaw-dropping pipe is a collabo between men regarded as captains of industry in the borosilicate glass world — @eusheen and @elboglass. Ya see those ill ass rainbow spirographs? They’re called fillachellos and Eusheen is the undisputed king of them. I’d never dare say who did what on a rig like this, but I’m certain the “fillas” are Eush’s… I’d know them anywhere.

The microscope shape itself I’d imagine was Elbo; he too is a rare beast on the torch. Elbo is generally known for amazing character work (like his dinos for example). However, he is also a professor in the prestigious “killin it all” school of glass blowing.

I am absolutely flabbergasted by the color and line work on this piece. To call it a rare treat would be an understatement. Be forewarned, once you dabble in fire like this, clear glass will never be the same… Respect to @fuzionglassgallery for sharing this epic piece.
