Religious Wacko Tries and Fails to Make PA Police Stop 420

Michael Marcavage founded and runs the Philadelphia evangelical group, Repent America. Repent America calls it their mission to save us all from the lake of fire and red dudes with pitchforks, because a book written by men thousands of years ago totally knows more about the universe than we do now.

I don’t mean to sound anti-Christian: I believe that we can each believe very different things, and most of the Christians I know are very nice, decent people. However, once we start trying to cram our own beliefs down everyone’s throat, we cross that line of religious freedom and enter one of religious oppression. Organizations such as Repent America are institutions of religious oppression, that try to make their beliefs the law of the land. Among their anti-abortion and anti-Obama campaigns, RA’s Michael Marcavage found the time to try to stop 420 in Philadelphia:

While I appreciate the fact that the police dealt with this guy the way I used to deal with fast-food customers complaining that the customer in front of them got an extra pickle, I really wish they would have at least forced him to leave.
