On Sunday evening we received the latest update (#34) from one of our favorite Kickstarter projects: The Culture High by Adam Scorgie. We support this Kickstarter project and encourage you to see it in a theater near you when the film is released in 2014.

Kickstarter: The Culture High Update

From Adam Scorgie:

Project Update #34: Happy New Year Everyone! Hoping for a HUGE 2013

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with friends and family, I know I did, but now I’m ready to get back at it and start the 16-18hr production days.

Were are working to begin filming the week before the Grammies in February, all depends on our interviewee’s schedules of course, and we have some AMAZING talent lined up! CAN’T WAIT to be able to post production stills.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE/RELEASE

We are aiming/hoping for a Sundance  or Slamdance  premiere in January of 2014 with the event and limited theatrical release right after during the months of February, March and the beginning of April with the full TV/DVD and VOD release set to be April 20th A.K.A (4/20)

That’s the goal anyway, their can always be hiccups and set backs, but that’s the dates were pushing hard to meet. Getting into Sundance/Slamdance is no easy task, so we might try and work with YOU the AWESOME Kickstarter people again, to see if we can do some kind of viral support campaign demanding/persuading one of the festivals to accept us. We’ll figure that out closer to the date.

We have also started to create some meme’s to help get the word out about The Culture High and its social media sites, the first is a Bill Hicks Meme, lots of other great meme’s to come along with all kinds of behind the scenes footage and production stills.

Thank you again everyone, this film wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for amazing fans/supporters like you!

CAN’T WAIT to go on this journey with all of you

Kind Regards

TCH Team
