Consumption

So this friend of mine who’s also a patient came over to my house not long ago, and laid these two big fat nugs on me. It’s really one big fat nug, because most of the other one is gone now, but that’s because I was exploring the many sides of this Bubba Kush stuff. You know. For science.

I didn’t really know anything about Bubba Kush, and in fact I thought the name was a joke…grown originally in Arkansas perhaps? But, as it turns out, it’s actually a cross between the strains Bubble Gum and Kush, at least according to leaf.ly. Obviously, it should be heavily indica-dominant with the name Kush in there, but the most distinctive characteristic of this stuff is the smell. Just popping the top of the container is enough to make your eyes cross! It smells kind of like Sour Diesel mixed with Lemon Kush, but very strong.

Bubba_Kush Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bubba_Kush.jpgI couldn’t bring myself to ruin these beautiful nugs in a grinder, so I’ve mostly been picking little pieces off the sides of one. But that’s actually all I need. What I do is put some in my MFLB, take two or three hits and then run off to bed before they hit. I usually don’t make it all the way and end up laughing my head off while trying to take my pants off!

Yes, mostly what I do is use it to fall asleep, because it’s really good for that. No pain, no anxiety, nothing to keep you awake. But (at least for me) it’s not much good for anything else, because after I’ve used it I’m not good for much of anything else! Bubba Kush gives me all sorts of “reefer madness” side effects such as dehydration, lack of motivation, giggling, memory problems, and inability to concentrate…or even think clearly. So don’t use this during the day, unless you just want to sit in front of the TV. Did I mention it was very strong?

Here are a few examples of what some other people have to say about this strain:

  • Cannabis Search says: “classic West Coast medical bud that will satisfy even those with the highest of tolerances.”
  • Kind Reviews says: “yawning and stretching led one reviewer straight into a nap in the middle of the morning.”
  • KGB says: “overindulgence can lead to couchlock and major munchies.”
  • Canna Central says, “good for insomnia, pain and she stimulates hunger in patients with nausea.”

TL,DR: A strong indica that will not disappoint you, especially if you want to sink into the couch and veg out.
