This excellent infographic describes the varying prices of marijuana. Made by floatingsheep.org using data from the anonymous feedback site PriceOfWeed.com, this map describes the low prices of Mendocino County, California. Lower prices in several states with no medical marijuana are likely caused by the sale of primarily low-grade imported shwag, rather than medical-grade marijuana.

Also explored in the full infographic is the upper midwest zone of high prices. The harsh penalties for possession and few grow sites found, indicate that this is simply due to low supply. Prices are still steep on the east coast despite the large number of medical states. Population density could be a factor here, as well as the implementation of each states medical marijuana regulations.
