I highly regard this strain as one of the best medications available for nighttime use. While I didn’t grow this favorite strain myself like Denver Green Beaker’s Grape Ape, it is worthy of a review.

Kosher Kush was the winner of the High Times Indica Cup in 2010 and 2011, and it also took 2nd and 3rd place in the 2011 LA Medical Cannabis Cup. This strain is from DNA’s Reserva Privada seed line, and it was allegedly blessed by a Rabbi, hence its name. It has a spicy, earthy flavor that is very pleasant.

Kosher Kush is a heavy-hitter that will result in couchlock, but this is a good thing if you are exhausted from a hard day’s work and you want immediate pain relief and relaxation. I medicate with Kosher Kush at the very end of the day when my brain has permission to shut down. This strain is phenomenal for insomnia, as it causes heavy eyelids and drowsiness minutes after smoking. I get the best night’s sleep with Kosher Kush, and I wake up feeling refreshed the next morning.

KK is also great for treating depression, backaches, and menstrual cramps. It is undoubtedly my favorite strain for any kind of physical and emotional discomfort. She also produces a strong cerebral high that will definitely inspire creativity before you pass out for a blissful eight hours.

Kosher Kush is an exceptional nighttime medication that is a smooth smoke with a dankness that will keep you coming back for more night after night. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to crash without a care in the world at the end of a long day.
