Source: http://dangerousminds.net/comments/the_ice_bongThis week we honor the ice bong, a DIY project. This specific ice bong we found at DangerousMinds.net.

I am not aware of any ready-made kits, so building any ice bong is a labor of love. The operation requires you to find things around the house that can be re-purposed as molds (and still fit in your freezer). The tricky part is finding something you can use as a mold around your slide (from one of your other bongs). Then it’s a matter of filling your molds, freezing the water and taking out the frozen pieces to manufacture a bong.

Once you’ve finished your build, using your ice bong is a race against time. Every second your ice bong is out in the heat, it is dying a little bit. The melt is unrelenting unless you are hanging out at the Minus 5 bar in Las Vegas. This melting means that spilling the bong water is an eventuality, so watch your clothes, and I suggest always using any ice bong outside. No one wants bong water on the floor!

Weedist entrepreneurial opportunity

The poster of this particular image suggested that he was also not aware of any ice bong kits on the market. Do you think there’s a market for ice bong kits? If you are feeling ambitious and know someone that can manufacture silicon molds, contact us!
