HopeNet Cooperative, San Francisco’s oldest continuously operating storefront medical marijuana dispensary recently announced the Department of Justice is forcing them to close its doors at 223 9th Street by July 31, 2012. They are going to try to survive and provide for their patients as a delivery only service. US Attorney Melinda Haag first sent HopeNet’s landlords a written warning on February 21, 2012 saying they must evict Hopenet or face property seizure.
Here’s a 33 minute documentary about HopeNet Cooperative’s and their patients’ plight. They ask everyone to:
Help us protect a Patient’s right to use Cannabis. Help us help those in need in our communities. Help us preserve Freedom.
