Ronald Reagan Lied About Marijuana Effects (1980s)

“I now have absolute proof that smoking even one marijuana cigarette is equal in brain damage to being on Bikini Island during an H-bomb blast” – Ronald Reagan

I would love to see that proof Mr. President, wouldn’t you?

    President Regan was one of the best presidents of our time, and if he lied to us, then somebody lied to him!

    Yeah…if Ronald Reagan said that then he must have been informed by someone else because I doubt he would have the time to do a study on marijuana by himself as President of the United States.

    Certainly can’t disagree with the comments, we could not have expected more from an actor turned politician (well I guess they are all actor in some form anyway). However I can argue that his policy of “Just Say No” was a huge lie to the American people which still lingers today in the minds of many. Shame on his advisers for allowing marijuana rumors to spread instead of science.
