Marijuana News

The world was duly shocked at the bombings during the Boston Marathon last month, but information has come out suggesting that one or both of the alleged Boston Bomber Brothers might also have been involved in the murder of three people in 2011, one of whom was a well-known heady glass artist.

Erik Weissman, a co-founder of high-end bong maker Hitman Glass, was one of the three men murdered in Waltham, Massachusetts on the ominous date of September 11, 2011. All were brutally slain with an edged weapon (we’re leaving grisly details out for your convenience), and marijuana was found poured over the bodies.

A number of observers felt these men, who were all known to be involved with the marijuana trade in some way, had simply been in the proverbial “wrong place at the wrong time”. Speculation that there was more to this came to light when someone realized that one of the victims was once known to be the best friend of the older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who strangely did not attend his friend’s funeral.

Possible motives for the murders include religion (as Erik and another victim were Jewish), or possibly a more radicalized view of the world on the part of the two brothers, who were both known previously to be marijuana smokers.

Ironically, all this information eluded much of the “marijuana press” because it came to light immediately after the 4/20 weekend, but a recent impassioned article by Bobby Black (a close friend of Erik) in High Times magazine brought it to the forefront once again. We all fervently hope this mystery can soon be solved and the friends and family of the victims be afforded some closure.
