Weed Lifestyle

global cannabis march, sourceCannabis prohibition has staggering global consequences. Without real research into the subject, we’re left to conjecture about the extent of such irrational prohibition. But the stories which abound about the consequences of drug trafficking in Latin America alone are enough to make this an important issue for global activists, not to mention the untapped potential of hemp to rejuvenate the global economy and diminish the impact of our unsustainable lifestyle.

The Global Cannabis March seeks to raise awareness about these issues and demand change.

I can’t imagine a better way to spend Saturday May 4th than showing the global community my support for responsible cannabis reform! Sadly, there is not an event taking place close enough for me to be able to make it as I’m in a rather rural part of the country right now. But with events going on all over the world this cannot be the case for all of our readers!

So take a look here to see if there’s a march planned near you and spread the world to make the Global Cannabis March on May 4th bigger and better than the year before.

And if there isn’t an event near you – consider planning one for next year! All events are organized on a grass-roots level and with just a little planning you could kick-off a new event to help spread the word in 2014!
