Silver Lining: Automatic Budget Cuts Would Hinder Drug War

The automatic budget cuts set for Friday would have countless effects, but could actually hinder the federal drug war. If allowed to occur, the cuts would cost the DEA $166 million of its $2.02 billion budget. Other federal agencies involved in the drug war would lose a combined $255 million.
