The city of Garden Grove, California sent cease-and-desist orders to over 60 medical marijuana dispensaries last week. The action comes after a California Supreme Court ruling to allow cities to ban medical marijuana dispensaries if they find them to be a ‘public nuisance.’
Last Friday, medical marijuana activists Lindsey and Josh Rinehart’s two sons were returned to them after 17 days. The children were taken after police found marijuana ‘within reach’ of the kids in late April. No charges have been filed against the couple, though prosecutors are reviewing the case.
