Here is a distinctly artistic dab pin that made me “Happy like Pharrell” the second I saw it. This Bob Ross dab pin is absolutely fantastic! Shouts out to Instagrammer and hot pin hoarder Lot Rat Pins on the post here.

Bob Ross was absolutely legendary. I am fairly certain that I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know who he is or the The Joy of Painting. I distinctly remember being a kid and trying my hand at happy little rivers and waterfalls. Twas not nearly as easy as Bob made it look, but the velvet in Bob’s voice made it O.K.

I also remember my parents—and pretty much everyone else—joking about the way he talked and how he had to be stoned. No one knows for sure, but my parents were certainly not alone. Go ahead and Google, “Bob Ross stoner,” the results are pretty terrific. I’d say they were split in half between appreciation of Bob Ross on weed and wondering if Bob Ross smoked.

Losing Bob to cancer remains a tremendous shame. I found this homage to be loving and benign. I think it’s pretty awesome that stoners respect someone that brought joy to so many who didn’t even paint themselves!
