Drizella cannabis plant, My Favorite Strains: Drizella, Source: https://www.opengrow.com/uploads/gallery/album_3242/gallery_2170_3242_831730.jpg

While visiting the dispensary a few weeks ago I noticed they were carrying a strain that I had never heard of before: Drizella. I liked the name so I got a couple grams to try out.

Drizella - WeedistThis Sativa dominant strain is a cross between White Widow and Cinderella 99. It was likely named after Drizella Tremaine, Cinderella’s bitchy step-sister. But don’t let the name throw you; the strain is nothing like that wench.

Drizella is said to have great medicinal properties, while still providing a nice cerebral high. It is also supposed to ease pain and aches without making you drowsy.

My experience with it was positive. When I first smoked it with my MFLB vaporizer, I noticed a very pleasant wintergreen/pineapple flavor. I wanted to keep smoking just to taste the flavor.

I also noticed that this strain doesn’t dry my eyes out as much as other do, which is great because I like to read alot. Usually when I smoke I can’t read because my eyes get all dried out, but this time I was actually able to sit and read for a while.

As a side note, I would encourage anyone who hasn’t tried it yet to read while high. Find a strain that won’t get you too loopy and try sitting down with a good book. It’s very enjoyable, especially for manga or graphic novels.

Anyway, it seemed to me that this strain had an easier coming down than others. I didn’t feel like I was falling off a cliff, it was more like hang gliding down a forest valley.

While researching Drizella’s properties, I came across some information that mentioned how easy Drizella is to grow. This makes it a good candidate for my next grow operation, after I finish the Blue Dream that’s nearing the flowering stage.

Overall, I would recommend Drizella mainly because of the flavor. It’s so tasty it rivals that of Strawberry Cough. If you happen to see this at your next visit at the dispensary, it’s worth your money to pick some up and try it out.
