Colorado’s Amendment 64 Task Force has voted to recommend allowing tourists to buy marijuana, though the amount will be limited to curb resale attempts. The task force also recommended that owners of marijuana businesses must be Colorado residents for at least two years.

The Washington State Liquor Control Board received 112 applications for marijuana expert consultants to help implement recreational marijuana legalization under Initiative 502. Desired knowledge includes how to grow and process marijuana, how to test its quality, and how to estimate the amount of pot people will buy in Washington.
Green Ambrosia, the largest medical marijuana dispensary in Seattle with ~5,200 square feet, opened its doors Saturday. The store is on 15th Ave in Ballard, was founded by Dante Jones and provides marijuana and edible goods for medical patients.
The Discovery Channel debuts a six-episode series, “Weed Country,” at 10 p.m. Wednesday and will replace it with “Pot Cops” in April.
