Former House Minority Leader, Robert Watson, will not be charged with a marijuana DUI and possession. The DUI was dismissed because a urine test can not prove impairment. The possession was dismissed once Watson completed a drug education program, a common punishment that is then used as ‘proof’ that cannabis is addictive.

Nathaniel Harshman, now only 20 years old, has been sentenced to 5 years for working on a 477-plant marijuana grow operation in Alaska in 2011. This is the Federal minimum sentence for working on a growing operation with more than 100 marijuana plants.
After receiving an anonymous tip stating that there were cars parked in the local high school parking lot containing drugs, the St. Landry Parish (Louisiana) Sheriff’s Office dispatched a narcotics team.
