Hemp Beer!? Can It Be True?

OK, this might just be me, but does anyone else think that Corona tastes like weed? It kind of smells like weed, too. I discovered this a few days ago after drinking my first Corona in a long time. At first I was really confused, then I was like hell yeah!

It got me thinking. I don’t know all the details about how beer is made, but could you make some kind of alcoholic drink out of a hemp plant? I mean, they can make alcohols out of grains, potatoes, grapes, and more. Why not hemp? They already make hemp into tons of stuff, ranging from paper, to plastics, to fuel. Why not find a way to make it into beer or wine? I’d totally drink that.

If you could make hemp into an alcohol, you could also infuse THC into it to make an amazing magic elixir. Since hemp is relatively easy to grow and doesn’t require as much pesticides or herbicides as other crops, it would be great for brewing beer. It’s also great for many other things, if only the Feds would back off from threatening farmers.

I decided to look for hemp beer, and I found that it does exist! Furthermore, hemp can be made into wine and hard alcohol too! Just check out this article. This was total news to me, so I got really excited reading it and I think I’ll have to get some of that hemp vodka or hemp wine and do a product review.
