Product Review: Xternal Balm, Source: Original image for www.Weedist.comXternal Balm is a brand of cannabis infused topical rub for the treatment of many pain related conditions such as minor sprains, stiffness, bruising, swelling, joint pain, arthritis, skin irritation, backache, chronic pain, muscle aches and more.

The balm smells quite pleasant, almost menthol-y. It’s thick and rubs into the skin very well — a little goes a long way. It is made with a beeswax base, not patroleum-jelly, and is all natural.

I suffer from arthritis, and have used it to relieve pain associated with my condition successfully. My favorite use for this balm though? Menstrual cramps. Hands down, it is the most effective medicine I have ever used for period pain. I rub the balm all over my lower abdomen and it goes to work very swiftly, taking the pain away and bringing me relief that allows me to get on with my day.

After experiencing how effective this balm is, I now consider topical cannabis products an essential part of any medicinal patient’s collection.

The Xternal website states, “Our proprietary blend of cannabinoids is especially formulated to be a powerful penetrating anti-inflammatory and pain reducer, and we have infused this blend into a variety of delivery methods to suit each patient’s unique needs.”

Beyond the balm, Xternal also offers a spray, cream, mud and bath soak. Their products can be found in most legalized states and some medicinal states as well. If a topical, effective, natural, cannabis pain reliever is what you seek, be sure to give Xternal’s products a try.
