Blonde brownies contain absolutely zero cocoa, which is where the dessert gets its blonde name. Blonde recipes often resemble a soft and chewy cookie dough-like brownie that can be filled with a variety of ingredients such as nuts of your choice, chocolate, or even fruit. This medicated recipe features moist, blonde brownies filled with chopped pecans, and made with cannabis-infused butter – perfect for your next cozy night in or friendly hangout!

Yields approximately 15 brownies.

Here’s What You Need:

  • 1/2 cup cannabis-infused butter (softened)
  • 2 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon organic pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Coconut oil for prepping the pan
  • Optional garnishes and sides: a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream, a glass of hemp milk, etc.

How to Make Blonde Bhang Brownies

To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next, using a standing mixer or electric hand-held mixer, whip the 1/2 cup of softened cannabis-infused butter until it’s light and fluffy.

Then, slowly add in the 2 1/4 cup light brown sugar and continue to whip the cannabis-infused butter until it’s well combined.

After, add the eggs, 1 at a time, until they’re just barely incorporated into the brownie batter.

Next, slowly stir in the 2 cups of chopped pecans, 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, and 1 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract until everything is well combined. Note: the brownie batter will be quite thick.

After, prep a 13″ by 9″ baking pan with some organic coconut oil to prevent the brownies from sticking (you may also substitute the coconut oil for vegetable oil, butter, or any other kind of nonstick cooking spray. However, my personal opinion is that coconut oil is the best for baking).

Once your baking pan is prepped with coconut oil, proceed to pour in the blonde brownie batter. Make sure you shimmy, jiggle, and tap the pan lightly on the counter top to allow any large air bubbles to escape.

Then, place the blonde brownies into your preheated oven and bake them for 25-30 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean when placed into the center of the brownies.

After 25-30 minutes, remove the brownies from the oven and place the entire pan on a cooling rack. Allow the blonde brownies to cool in the pan for at least 1 hour prior to cutting.

When ready to serve, slice the blonde brownies into roughly 15 squares.

Serve the blonde brownies with some ice cream, whipped cream, or even a tall glass of hemp milk!
