Pot Luck

These lovely little canna-green tea lights were kindly sent to me by a company on Etsy called Intoxicating Aromas. Though they do feature other scents such as classic nag champa, rose and even green tea, they seem to specialize in cannabis scented soy candles. I had the pleasure of investigating their cannabis tea light scent palette and exploring their effectiveness.

They arrived in lovely and professional packaging, so I can say they would make a great gift for someone this season. Six little tea lights were inside, all of them a lovely shade of canna-green. They are the sort of green you get when making cannabutter, so although I don’t have the exact recipe, a hint lies in what exactly gave them that lovely hue.

The candles are generously filled with wax and when lit, burn evenly and for a very long time. Their scent is a curious combination. Not really cannabis per se, but very earthy and spicy with a strong hint of melon. Overall it’s a pleasant and elegant scent.

The company, based out of Concord, California, had this to say about their product, “A dankly delicious scent of freshly ground cannabis bud. Pungent, strong, and earthy. Our tea lights are made from the finest quality soy wax and are hand poured in California!”

I would recommend these candles for any candle loving weedist, and especially think they’d make a great gift for a friend.
