Five Strains for the Adult Disney Fan, Source: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130703150452/disney/images/c/c1/Walt_disney_pictures.jpgDisney movies are timeless, and though they may enchant us in our childhood, the magic often carries over into adulthood. It’s hard not to feel nostalgic when looking back at these tales, and some strains have stepped up to carry that nostalgia over into our cannabis lifestyle. If you are a fully grown adult Disney fan, please enjoy the following five strains.

1. Alice in Wonderland

Trippy, heady and with a hookah smoking caterpillar to boot, it’s no wonder this psychedelic story has been a timeless cultural reference among cannabis consumers. The Alice in Wonderland strain brings us full circle. A sativa strain known for its euphoric head high, it heightens senses and is a favorite for creative endeavors. Stress reducing, its effects are said to be relaxing, as well as promoting focus and happiness. Sounds like the strain Alice was smoking before she fell down the rabbit hole.

2. Jasmin

An indica-dominate hybrid with a sweet flavor palate, this strain was originally bred to assist with sleep, but was found to have an array of other benefits such as stimulating appetite and treating pain. This is a strain that will leave you sleepy and hungry, and might leave you wishing you had a genie to summon you some snacks.

3. Cinderella 99

Said to have a tropical aroma and a flavor palate that is sweet and earthy with notes of citrus, this is a delicious strain you won’t need much of. A parent strain of  Glass Slipper, these two strains sound perfect for a movie night revisiting this old classic fairytale with friends.

4. Jack Skellington

The Jack Skellington strain, named after the movie’s skeletal protagonist, is a crystal coated sativa hybrid. A pungent strain, Jack Skellington is described as having a flavor palate that is fruity with notes of citrus and diesel. Said to be intensely psychoactive and creativity promoting, I almost have to wonder if Tim Burton was smoking this when he was inspired with the poem that began this tale.

5. Snow White

It’s flavor palate is described as sweet and earthy with notes of citrus. If someone offers you this strain in an apple bowl… well, actually, that’s pretty poetic! Smoke up, let the relaxation take over and maybe even settle down for a nap. Don’t worry, no creepy necrophiliac princes are needed to awaken you from this chill slumber.
