My Favorite Strains: Nelson Mandela Wax (Dabs)

Easily one of the best named strains I’ve seen in a very long time, Nelson Mandela is a product of recent Cannabis Cup Winners Infuzionz. The name is a tribute to the recently deceased former President of South Africa and humanitarian legend of the same name, so it only makes sense that this concentrate is the cross of Presidential Kush (one of our favorite strains here at Weedist) and Power Africa (a great hybrid and cross with Durban Poison).

In addition to being a very cleverly named strain of wax, the effect is an up and energetic feeling with a subtle but equally relaxing body high. When dabbed on my quartz nail in a glass bong, the taste was very sweet without being too overpowering. Even the best full melt concentrates can tend to be a bit too much on the chemical side, but the purging here was dead on with a fantastic, full body taste.

While this specific strain might be hard to find in any kind of form outside of the booming market that is Colorado, any form of Durban Poison, it’s sibling Power Africa, or the always fantastic Presidential Kush, I highly recommend checking it out and enjoying the sweet hybrid effects.
