Gear

Used with permission from Brothers with Glass http://www.brotherswithglass.com/default.aspI did my first dab at the NORML Conference in Denver in 2011. Shortly thereafter, this video was made. The only comment about my part of it was that I looked “baked.” Somebody clearly has a keen eye for the obvious!

It has only been recently that I decided it was time to upgrade my home setup to include the gear I need to dab.

I won a really cool bong at a fundraiser that had the proper percolation to convert easily to dabs with the proper nail. So, I started shopping and researching for parts. What an eye opener that was!

Our local head shops were the most expensive places to get what I needed. The internet was not much better. I finally checked out Brothers with Glass, and that’s where I hit the jackpot!Affordable Dab Gear Upgrades from Brothers with Glass - Weedist

For those who don’t know, Brothers with Glass is an online head shop based in Oregon. They have been mentioned here at Weedist numerous times for their generosity to the cannabis community, as shown by their many donations to all types of fundraisers. They provide a wide array of goods with a focus on local producers that can’t be found elsewhere.

What I learned from my research is that I wanted a quartz domeless nail and some containers to keep my oil away from my weed-eating dog. Brothers with Glass did not disappoint. First, they had the quartz domeless nail that I needed at a ridiculously low price. It is sturdy, has the high sides that I wanted to avoid oil overflows, and it fits perfectly into my bong. It delivers a great hit, and it is easy to maintain – all important factors for me.

Enter the NoGoo Nonstick containers. These little beauties come in a variety of bright colors with lids that fit securely and have a tighter seal than any other container on the market. They are unbreakable and non stick so you don’t loose your concentrates. They are food safe; they cut down on smell and they are safe at temperatures up to 500 degrees. They even bounce!

No dab set up is complete without a torch. Thanks to one of their ever-present sales, I was able to score a cute little Vector torch that works perfectly for me at an unbeatable discount.Used with permission from Brothers with Glass

The bottom line is that dabs and dabbing gear are becoming more popular in our cannabis community as we get ever closer to legalization. If you are looking to upgrade your situation, I suggest going to Brothers with Glass. It will save you time and money. With their fast service, you’ll be dabbing in no time!
