High Times Seattle Cannabis Cup 2013, Source: High TimesI must have dabbed so hard I missed Aeslip, talk about a good problem. Hopefully, you’ve already read his terrific account Adventures at the Cannabis Cup . Forgive me, I just had to +1 what he said.

It was Dabapalooza in there, a real pornocopia of errl, FUCK YEH! Unlike Hempfest, where rightfully, due to the sheer number of people, dabs (or more specifically torches) were not permitted, at the Seattle Cannabis Cup vendors were free to tempt customers with dabs. To say they took advantage of the opportunity would be such a fantastic understatement— the vendor area was a gauntlet of free dabs out of great rigs. As I perused the booths, I couldn’t help but notice it seemed like at least a third of them were for errl. You can only imagine my excitement; I ran around like a kid in a dab store.

However, what I am most thrilled to report was that this dab party was for everybody. There was no velvet rope excluding anyone who wanted to righteously get their dab on. Aisle after aisle, dab after dab— the delight of first-timers dabbing is always a privilege to witness. It’s that much more encouraging when it’s a nice rig to boot. I took more than a few out of Bones’ coveted Sovereignty Peyote Pillar, which was so generously open to all intrepid dabbers.

Me dabbin’  a delectable bhomb of Super Lemon Dawg shatter, mmmmmm eerrrlll.

Thankfully, the overall Cup space was quaint considering the stature and dabitude of the function. After the 4 mi. roundtrip circuits of Hempfest, it was nice to not have to walk too far blitzed. I, along with everyone else, seemed to get around safe and still well-faded. Kudos to the organizers for the constant reminders to leave cars at home, safety at the Cup was highly encouraged. I only wish I coulda dabbed with Aeslip. That’s OK, we’ve got the Secret Cup to look forward to. Thanks again to High Times for the access and for hosting yet another prolific event for the cause. #lightersup

Props to Seattle local Sasquatch Glass for taking down the glass prize, way to show the #seattlestoners proud.

It was so official that Redman was there, condoning my hard smoking since short pants and still championing the cause like a mofo in 2013. #lightersup
