My Favorite Strains: Hash Plant - Weedist; source: http://forum.sensiseeds.com/fdata/gallery/breeder_d/hash_plant_sensi_seeds_stock.jpgHash Plant is an indica-dominant Afghani strain named for its hashy-tasting buds. It’s a great strain for body aches and pains and stress relief. I picked up some Hash Plant at my dispensary a few weeks ago for the third time in a row, and it quickly became one of my favorite daytime and nighttime strains.

Hash Plant’s direct ancestor was developed years ago in the Northwest United States, eventually arriving in Holland as a few female cuttings. They quickly became a primary building block of Sensi Seed hybrids. Hash Plant was crossed to one of the three genotypes of the super Afghanis, Northern Lights #1.

One thing to remember about Hash Plant is that you shouldn’t expect a great taste from it. This strain tastes like its name: hashy and earthy. It is also known to be harsh on the throat when smoking it. However, the HP from my dispensary is rather smooth-hitting.

I smoked this strain for weeks almost exclusively, and I was happy with its hybrid qualities. It provides relief from anxiety and pain without a foggy head high. In the weeks that I smoked Hash Plant, I had some pretty bad stomach issues, and this strain helped with making stomach spasms more bearable.

Hash plant produced red eyes and cotton mouth, but it didn’t promote munchies with a THCV level of .70. I highly recommend this strain for daytime use as well as at night, and you won’t be totally couch-locked.
